Meet Optro’s 2025 gritty resilience value champion: Holly Clark

At Optro, a value champion is an individual who exemplifies and embodies our Optro core values. Selected through our annual Values Champions Awards, these individuals demonstrate exceptional commitment to our values in their everyday actions and interactions. As value ambassadors, they serve as role models and champions of our organizational values, inspiring their colleagues and contributing to a culture of excellence, integrity, and collaboration throughout the year.

We're proud to introduce Holly Clark, a Senior Technical Program Manager at Optro and our 2025 gritty resilience value champion. Holly lives out this core value every day, fearlessly confronting complexity and ambiguous solutions, even amidst the isolation of remote work. She consistently jumps into challenging situations with an inquisitive mind, a quality clearly demonstrated through her instrumental work on UI accessibility, high-performance list views with the Core-X team, hands-on customer support, and all of Optro's critical release management initiatives. Holly's dedication to delivering the optimal solution for our customers and company remains unwavering, regardless of the time and effort involved. Learn more about Holly below!

Tell us about your role at Optro!

Holly: As a Senior Technical Program Manager, I help drive alignment and execution across teams to deliver on high-impact initiatives. A recent key focus area that has been a lot of fun has been establishing and scaling a release management process that streamlines how teams plan, coordinate, and communicate the release of new products and functionality, resulting in increased customer satisfaction! I am super proud to be part of our PED Operations team, where we work to connect and align teams across the organization. Through process improvements, strategic planning, and cross-team coordination, we provide the support needed to deliver high-quality products at scale.

What is the most valuable lesson you’ve learned at Optro?

Holly: I’ve had the opportunity to technical program manage Optro’s accessibility program, where I’ve learned that compliance with WCAG (web content accessibility guidelines) standards is just the starting point, and that there is no finish line when it comes to ensuring that our products are accessible to ALL of our users. Digital accessibility is a journey that includes designing and building with empathy, always keeping user needs and expectations at the heart of everything we do.

What is the most rewarding part of your job?

Holly: The most rewarding part of my role at Optro is getting to work with incredibly talented, top-notch colleagues! Collaborating with people who bring a vast amount of expertise, lots of customer empathy, and are always passionate about the work they do is exciting and rewarding. I love being part of a team that consistently pushes and supports each other.

How has Optro helped you in your career development?

Holly: Working at Optro has been a big driver of my career growth, largely because of the cross-team collaboration. Partnering with people across product, engineering, and design, as well as across the organization, has exposed me to new perspectives, tools, and ways of working. Optro provides a culture of continuous learning that not only supports my career development but also makes me a better person overall.

What advice would you give someone interested in a career in your field?

Holly: My advice to someone interested in TPM work is to always be curious and adaptable and to learn where your passion lies. Connect with people doing the work you are interested in learning, ask questions, and get comfortable with ambiguity. Being a TPM at Optro has been one of the more challenging, yet most rewarding, experiences I’ve had throughout my career journey to date.
