What we heard at CRX 2026

Another year, another CRX! This year, we saw over 1,100 in-person attendees and over 3,300 virtual attendees. If you made it to San Diego or logged on for our virtual keynotes, we hope you left feeling inspired by your newfound knowledge of agentic workflows, automation, and GRC Intelligence.

“GRC, as we know it, is no longer enough.”

CRX was buzzing with the introduction of GRC Intelligence during our executive keynote. This is the next evolution of GRC that’s powering Optro’s new system.

The foundations of GRC – collecting information, managing workflows, documenting controls, and reporting results – are as essential as ever, but modern demands have shifted. Risk has only gotten more complex with the rise of AI, and sociopolitical factors have led to the consistent introduction of new regulations.

GRC Intelligence is the response, connecting a trusted system of record with an intelligent system of action, moving beyond simply identifying risks and opportunities. We’re here to help you act on them.

All the products to support GRC Intelligence

Much like Extreme’s hit 1991 single, GRC Intelligence is “more than words.” At CRX, we brought that idea to life with the introduction of a whole host of new capabilities designed to support the Optro platform.

Agentic Compliance is a brand-new capability that allows teams to automate tasks to reduce manual workflows. With agents and professionals working together, teams have more time to identify gaps and evaluate issues.

Along with Agentic Compliance, we announced:

A Partner Forum for you

The Partner Forum went off with a bang, offering a space for Optro’s incredible partners to network while getting an inside look at everything we’ve been working on. That included individual meetings, breakout sessions, and the Partner Resources Fair.

During the Forum, our team provided in-depth insights on:

• The market shifts in GRC
• The GRC Intelligence report
• What GRC Intelligence looks like in practice
• The next phase of the Optro Partner Connect program

Optroverse and beyond!

The Optroverse was the control center of the conference, featuring live demos, product stations, and 1:1 time with our customer team. It was also where we introduced Braindates, a service allowing folks to connect with other attendees one-on-one or in small groups. It was a big hit!

The Optro Open welcome reception was hosted in the Optroverse, where attendees were met with refreshing drinks, table tennis, a pickleball court, and more, for a classic racquet club vibe.

A homecoming to remember

It’s not CRX without a shindig, and this year’s party was absolutely hopping. The theme was Homecoming 2026: A night to remember, and boy howdy, was it unforgettable. We wanted to celebrate where we’ve been and where we’re going, along with all of you.

That included:

• Dancing to great tunes
• Causing a ruckus in Detention
• Taking a breather in the Teacher’s Lounge
• Decorating accessories with custom patches
• Enjoying some late-night burgers courtesy of In-N-Out

Get ready for CRX’27

CRX’26 was an absolute blast! With over 40 breakout sessions and keynotes that revealed our GRC Intelligence Platform, this year’s CRX was all about bringing insights to an industry that’s in constant flux.
