AuditBoard Names Karen Gift as Chief Financial Officer

Former Blackline and Cornerstone OnDemand Head of Finance joins AuditBoard for next stage of growth, AuditBoard also expands operations with El Segundo location

LOS ANGELES, CA – September 5, 2018 – AuditBoard, a leading cloud-software platform for automating and transforming the way enterprises handle critical risk, audit, and compliance work, today announced the appointment of Karen Gift as the company’s Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Gift served as an advisor to the company prior to joining its executive leadership team.

Gift is an accomplished finance and accounting executive with more than fifteen years of global finance, accounting and operations experience, particularly in helping enterprise software-as-a-service (SaaS) companies scale from their early, capital-raising stages to public company offerings.

Prior to joining AuditBoard, Gift served as the Vice President of Finance for Blackline, a provider of cloud-based finance and accounting solutions. There, Gift played a key role in leading the company through its IPO and subsequent growth. Gift also held a Vice President of Finance role with talent management cloud software firm Cornerstone OnDemand. During her nine years with the company, Gift was instrumental in building and leading Cornerstone’s global finance organization throughout the company’s growth trajectory as it emerged as one of the world’s largest SaaS organizations.

To further the company’s hyper-growth over the past year, AuditBoard has expanded its Los Angeles operations by opening a new office in El Segundo. The company also recently announced it has raised $40 million in a Series B funding round led by global investment firm Battery Ventures.
