Kieran Taylor is CEO and cofounder of Midship, an AI platform that automates controls testing. Midship's agents process PBC evidence and produce fully documented workpapers ready for external auditor reliance. Kieran now serves as the Senior Director of Engineering at Optro.

He started his career at Deloitte in London, building audit-ready GDPR compliance systems for a FTSE 100 bank. He later moved to the U.S. and joined Instacart, where he led an initiative to build a unified permissions system for IPO preparedness. After experiencing the pain of preparing for first year SOX, he started Midship to augment auditors with AI-assisted tooling.

Urmi Vora is the Chief Audit Executive at Confluent (recently acquired by IBM) and a seasoned audit, risk, and compliance leader with more than 15 years of experience helping technology companies strengthen governance, internal controls, and organizational resilience in rapidly evolving business environments.

Throughout her career, Urmi has led internal audit, SOX compliance, enterprise risk management, and advisory functions, including leadership roles at Confluent, Cloudera. She has extensive experience partnering with executive leadership and Audit Committees to enhance risk oversight, strategic transformations, optimize control environments, and drive operational efficiency.

A strong advocate for leveraging technology to modernize assurance activities, Urmi was among the early adopters of Midship's SOX automation platform and has firsthand experience transforming traditional SOX testing through automation and data-driven approaches. Her work has focused on reducing manual effort, improving testing quality, and enabling audit and compliance teams to deliver greater strategic value to the business.
