About the speakers

Charles King is a Partner in KPMG’s Advisory Services practice. He is passionate about improving business outcomes through the practical use of technology and next generation approaches. He has held several leadership positions at KPMG and throughout the industry to help large, complex organizations implement analytics, automation, and AI solutions from initial vision through steady state operations.
Charles’s industry credentials include large, global brands in technology, financial services, hospitality, manufacturing, real estate, and more. Prior to joining KPMG, Charles was the Vice President of Analytics at Compass Group. In that capacity, he oversaw business intelligence, consumer insights, and revenue management teams.
Charles holds a Bachelor’s degree in business administration from Southern Methodist University and an MS degree in business analytics from New York University. He is a Certified Public Accountant in Florida and Texas. Additionally, Charles is a Certified Internal Auditor, Certified Management Accountant, and Certified Fraud Examiner. Charles is also a thought leader and frequent public speaker on the future of the profession.

Emmanual Benton is Director of the Professional Practices Group at Verizon,
where he leads strategic initiatives focused on audit innovation and advancing
the internal audit function. With over a decade of experience in governance, risk,
and compliance, he brings a forward-thinking perspective to emerging areas like
artificial intelligence and technology-driven transformation.
He also serves as Audit Committee Chair and board member of Ready to
Succeed, a nonprofit supporting foster youth and first-generation college
students. Emmanual is passionate about giving back, engaging with communities,
and empowering future leaders to pursue their full potential.
Outside of work, he has experience in real estate and small fund management.
He is a husband and proud father of three, and believes the world becomes a
better place when people are empowered to follow their passions.

Adam is a Director of Internal Audit at The Boeing Company. He oversees Data Analytics and Audit Operations, including all the supporting technology for the department. Adam has overseen the transformation of integrating technology into audits, including machine learning, GenAI, and technology based continuous monitoring. Previous to Boeing, Adam was a Senior Manager at Fiserv, where he developed the analytics function in addition to managing IT, Finance, and Operational engagements. Adam started his career at PwC in Chicago working on Asset Management clients. He earned his Masters and Bachelors in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
