About the speakers

Hugo Doetsch

Hugo Doetsch is the CFO of Optro, bringing a wealth of experience in financial strategy, software operations, and high-growth SaaS environments. He brings a strategic approach to the role of CFO following a successful tenure at Symplr, a healthcare operations software company. Hugo’s career began on Wall Street in investment banking before entering the software sector. Prior to transitioning to operating roles, Hugo served as the Global Head of the Services Investment Banking Group at Citigroup.
His deep expertise in the software lifecycle is demonstrated by his leadership roles at Ping Identity, where he helped lead the company through a successful IPO in 2019, and NetDocuments, a legal SaaS business that achieved a significant exit via sale to Warburg Pincus. Hugo’s path from investment banking and private equity to executive operations aligns with Optro’s focus on financial excellence and strategic growth.

Craig Clay

Craig Clay is the President of Global Capital Markets (GCM) at DFIN, the leading provider of solutions to public and private companies subject to SEC reporting requirements and the number one SEC filer in the U.S.

Prior to his current role, he served as senior vice president at R.R. Donnelley (RRD) where he headed the GCM and Legal Process Outsourcing business. Before joining RRD, Craig was a leading financial analyst at American Eurocopter, a subsidiary of Aerospatiale.

Craig received a Bachelor of Business Administration from Baylor University and earned a Master of Business Administration from Southern Methodist University. Craig serves as a trustee for Big Brothers Big Sisters of New York City.
