Michael Rasmussen, GRC analyst and pundit, and Guru Sethupathy, GM of AI Governance at Optro, will lead an interactive workshop that explores the intersection of AI and GRC, .giving practitioners the frameworks, tools, and hands-on guidance needed to take action. About the instructors
Michael Rasmussen
Michael Rasmussen is an internationally recognized pundit on governance, risk management, and compliance (GRC) — with specific expertise on enterprise GRC strategy and processes supported by robust information and technology architectures. With 30+ years of experience, Michael helps organizations improve GRC strategy and processes supported by the correct GRC technology architecture. This enables organizations to align GRC with the business and deliver effective, efficient, resilient, and agile capabilities to the organization. He is a sought-after keynote speaker, author, and advisor and is noted as the “Father of GRC” — the first to define and model the GRC market in February 2002 while at Forrester.
Guru Sethupathy
Guru Sethupathy is the GM of AI Governance at Optro. Previously, he was the founder and CEO of FairNow (now part of Optro), a governance platform that simplifies AI governance, helping customers build trust and adoption in their AI investments. Prior to founding FairNow, Guru served as an SVP at Capital One, where he led teams in building AI technologies and solutions while managing risk and governance. Guru also spent time at McKinsey, where he advised Fortune 100 leaders on harnessing the power of analytics and AI while managing risks. He has a BS in Computer Science from Stanford University and a PhD in Economics from Columbia University.
